P.E Uniform

At St Egwin’s we do not have gender-specific PE uniform; pupils may choose the style that they want and, to some extent, the colour from the required PE uniform list.

PE uniform should be comprised of the specified items of clothing that can be purchased from the School Shop in Evesham where available.

These items of PE uniform are known to be durable, appropriate for the tasks your child will be taking part in during PE lessons, and look smart. No branded items sport clothes are permitted.

Navy St Egwin’s tracksuit bottoms and leggings are an optional (but very popular) part of PE uniform.  We appreciate that the financial demands on parents, carers and their families can be especially challenging at times. Therefore, unbranded navy tracksuit bottoms can be worn. If you would benefit from some financial assistance with the purchase of these items of kit (leggings or tracksuit bottoms only), then please contact the finance office to check whether you may be eligible for some additional support.

In addition to the PE uniform below, pupils are able to wear thermal, protective undergarments (skins) under their official PE uniform but not instead of it.

Shin pads are essential for football and hockey lessons as are gum shields, but we understand that not all pupils are able to wear a gum shield, so this is down to personal choice.

Pupils with long hair will be required to tie their hair back for the safety of all; they will need to supply their own hair bobble.

Fitbits and step counting wrist wear is permitted for some but not all PE lessons, pupils will be informed.

Jewellery and ear piercings are not permitted for PE. Personal medical tape will need to be provided for any pupils that are unable to remove their ear-studs.
