Support for Students

Pupils enjoy learning and attending school. They are welcoming, friendly and polite. Respectful relationships between staff and pupils are commonplace.

Staff spot quickly when any pupil needs extra help. The school ensures that staff receive information and training so that pupils with SEND receive swift and effective support. This includes on how best to support them in lessons. As a result, pupils do well and overcome their learning barriers.

We recognise and understand the many and varied challenges that face pupils in the  modern age. Our curriculum ensures that pupils have the necessary skills and confidence to succeed in more than just an academic sense. We place a great emphasise on our pastoral work and are proud that our commitment as a church school to Love, Respect and Endeavour helps every pupil to show care, tolerance and consideration for others.

Whilst pupils are given excellent support by our pastoral and Special Educational Needs team, we know that it is also challenging for parents/carers too. We want you to share your  questions and concerns with us and really value the opportunity to engage in dialogue as part of our shared mission.

Included below are a range of links that pupils, parents and carers may find useful in assisting them with a wide range of issues. If there is something that you feel would be helpful but isn’t here, please let us know as we are always happy to help.
