Supporting Families and Wellbeing (inc. Wraparound)
At St Egwin’s C.E. Middle School, we recognise the challenges that families face in bringing up children. There may be times when you need extra help and support. If this is the case, our doors are always open for you to come and talk to us.
Providing excellent support to our children and families means we can improve outcomes for children, families, and communities, providing support as soon as a problem emerges, at any point in a child’s life. We recognise that families face a range of difficulties and often these can prove to be extremely challenging.
We are always here to listen, to help and to signpost to additional services if the situation requires.
Irrespective of the situation that you might be facing we are hear to listen and to offer the right support for you. Our ‘Early Help Offer’ is therefore a graduated response where we fit the right support at the right level of need.
Sensitivity and care are at the heart of our offer and it is important that if ever you wish to speak to us about a concern then we will always treat your views with professionalism and empathy. As well as you potentially wanting to share any concerns you may have with us, we will share our thoughts if ever we are concerned about a child because the safety and welfare of all pupils is our biggest priority.
Always remember, if ever you have anything on your mind, no matter how big or small it might be, we are here to support you.

Wrap Around Provision
Breakfast Club runs every morning in the dining hall from 8am to 8.20am offering cereal and toast with a variety of toppings and a drink. Some mornings pancakes, waffles and baked beans are also available. Breakfast Club is open for all and there is no charge for this.
Some sport or activity based after-school clubs, run by St Egwin’s staff, are available until 4.15pm on site and are free. These will be communicated throughout the academic year via the Edulink App.
If you are looking for childcare after 3.15pm, the school partners with Evesham Adventure Playground who offer a collection service from St Egwin’s CE Middle School to their premises at Woodlands, Evesham WR11 1XH, for pupils aged 4-14 years old. They offer a full range of indoor and outdoor activities for the duration of the sessions, with drinks and snacks provided. It is open immediately after school and you can choose between pick-up only, a 4.30pm finish or 6pm finish. Options are also available during school holidays and TED days. Pupils enjoy school and attend regularly. They value the care and nurture that staff provide. Parents are complimentary about the pastoral support their children receive.
