Careers Fayre 2026
We are starting our planning to enable us to deliver an exciting, informative and memorable careers fayre for the St Egwin’s Pupils on the 25th June 2026, and we are hoping that you will be able to help us make this a memorable event for all. We are hopeful volunteers will support the local school in these endeavours as they did last time in July 2023.
There will be many opportunities for volunteers to inspire and share their knowledge and experience of the workplace. All the pupils need some engaging opportunities to meet ‘real’ employees/entrepreneurs with their career path stories and job information. Hopefully, the children will gain a better idea of the wide variety of pathways and opportunities that are available and achievable for them.
Careers Fayre participation will include 40-minute small group sessions with a member of staff present. We hope these will inform and challenge pupils about career choices and job information – the more interactive appealing and intriguing, the better. The sessions could take a variety of forms, not limited to but including the following: question and answer, presentations, planned activities, virtual or hands on activities, videos of your workplace or of different job roles. The participation could be for a part or the full day, please give us an idea any potential participant’s availability for the day.
With your support and participation, we anticipate a thought-provoking day for the pupils, and we strongly believe that you will enjoy it too. Please can we ask you to consider joining us and distributing this request to your network of colleagues, family and friends.

Our Previous Careers Events
2025 Careers & Enterprise Day
On 10th July 2023 pupils at St Egwin’s had a whole day Careers Fair. All pupils were given the opportunity to work in small groups with one of 40 volunteers from 14 different industry sectors, including many local and national business representatives. The pupils enjoyed a hands-on experience of different careers ranging from, Agriculture, Finance, Insurance, Construction, Engineering through to Public Services and Hospitality. They were also introduced to post-16 options such as colleges and apprenticeships.
The presenters who gave up their time were hugely complementary about the enthusiasm of the pupils and the endeavour of the school in organising the event.
Careers Enterprise Advisor, Helen Airdrie presented at the event “Just to reiterate my congratulations on such a fantastic day yesterday. The organisation was superb and a credit to your meticulous planning and attention to detail.”
This was only part of St Egwin’s Careers offer, which includes skills development, experiences, CV writing and preparation for interview, with the aim of equipping children from Evesham with the knowledge and skills both that they need, and that the community values.
