Home School Info Our Weather Station
Using the Vantage 2 Davis Weather Station and some high-tech digital software, we are now able to stream live weather data around the school, and, across the internet.
A new interactive weather display is now in place outside Room 2a where pupils can observe and learn about the weather conditions at our school. The weather data will support key understanding through various geographical topics and other data and statistical subjects such as maths.
The Weather Watch Team, made up of pupils will be reporting patterns, explanations and trends to the whole school via the interactive weather display and through assemblies. In their bi-weekly meetings, they will also be learning about the importance of weather in our lives and completing weather related experiments to support their findings.
A huge thank you to Mr Merrett who has been an invaluable link in getting all the gadgets up and running.
Designed, built and maintained in-house.
